Beyond Sorry: A Better Way to Handle Conflict in Your Relationship

19.03.2019 in Love, Personal Development, Relationships, Self Love, Soulmate

“Sorry isn’t always enough. Sometimes you actually have to change.” ~Unknown

When I was young I was like every other kid, always in and out of trouble. I pushed the boundaries of what was acceptable in order to see what I could get away with. When I pushed, I’d often keep on pushing until someone said “stop.”

During my childhood I heard lots of:

“STOP!!”

Quickly followed by:

“Say you’re sorry.”

Say those two magical words, “I’m sorry,” and all the pain will go away.

How To Get Your Confidence Back After Divorce

08.03.2019 in Healing, Life Path, Love, Personal Development, Positive Thinking, Self Love

From Sivana By Martha Bodyfelt

Divorce really has a way of wrecking our lives. Not only are we learning to be single again, we are also forced to adapt to new realities of a change in lifestyle, schedules, and retirement plans.

As if these challenges are not overwhelming enough, there’s another struggle we must endure after divorce: learning how to rebuild our self-esteem.

It’s easy to understand why this is such an issue. When your relationship ends, you may feel rejected. You may feel unworthy. You may think that nobody will ever find you attractive and worthy of love.

Super Moon on 19th Feb and its effects on the Zodiac

13.02.2019 in Astrology, New Moon, Personal Development, Positive Thinking, Psychic Readings, Psychics, Spiritual Reports

By Psychic Advisor & Astrologer Meha

The full moon of February occurs on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 10:53 a.m. EST (15:53 UTC), but will appear full the night before and after its peak to the casual stargazer. It will also be a so-called “supermoon,” according to NASA. The February full moon is often known as the Full Snow Moon, though like all full moons on the calendar it has several other names in different cultures.

The Full moon is a time for completions, culminations, creative spurts and accumulation. They also give us an inkling to cash in on anything we began at the corresponding new moon six months earlier.

5 Things You Need to Know About Cheating, Affairs and Infidelity

05.02.2019 in Healing, Personal Development, Relationships, Stress Management, toxic relationship

BY CATHY MEYER

Affairs are as old as marriage itself!

The union, in marriage of two members of the opposite sex is a tradition that has been around since men were living in caves. So have extra-marital affairs. Since almost the beginning of time, humans have believed that marriage was important in maintaining a cohesive, healthy society. Another belief that was collectively held about marriage was the idea that the union was to be monogamous. Despite this belief, some human beings can’t seem to live a monogamous lifestyle. Research has shown that affairs are as old as marriage itself.

It’s Not Settling to Love Someone Who Doesn’t Match Your Fantasy

“Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.” ~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I’ve always been a dreamer. A really big dreamer. For the most part, it’s served me well. I was the first person in my family to graduate from college. A private college, magna cum laude, while raising four children alone. I don’t do mediocrity.

I worked hard and brought our family out of poverty single handedly. We moved to a better neighborhood, built a nice house, and went on vacations. I was no ordinary woman.

When Someone Cheats or Mistreats You, It’s About Them, Not You

“Pain makes you stronger. Tears make you braver. Heartbreak makes you wiser. So thank the past for a better future.” ~Unknown

I used to think when someone cheated on me that I was flawed.

You see, I had a core belief that there was something wrong with me. I never felt enough. I’m not even sure I can fully articulate this feeling, but whatever it was, I just didn’t feel enough. Slim enough, pretty enough, clever enough, worthy enough, or just, well, anything enough.

I’ve now come to see that when someone mistreats you it has almost nothing to do with you.

18.12.2018 in Holidays, Life Skills, Personal Development

By

This post contains an excerpt from GETTING GRIEF RIGHT: Finding Your Story of Love in the Sorrow of Loss, by Patrick O’Malley, PhD with Tim Madigan.

It was spring 1980 when my wife, Nancy, and I received some of the best news of our lives—she was pregnant with our first child.

On a Tuesday morning that September, we found ourselves sitting in her obstetrician’s office. Nancy, not due to deliver for three months, had been awakened the night before by a strange physical sensation.

8 Ways To Raise Your Vibration (Your Positive Energy)

29.11.2018 in Empowerment, Healing, Health, Life Skills, Personal Development, Positive Thinking, Stress Management

By Amy Crawford

What is ‘vibration’?

As described by Cassandra Sturdy*; “Your ‘vibration’ is a fancy way of describing your overall state of being. Everything in the universe is made up of energy vibrating at different frequencies. Even things that look solid are made up of vibrational energy fields at the quantum level. This includes you.”

From a scientific and metaphysical perspective, Sturdy further explains that we are a ‘being’ that is made up of different energy levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Each of these levels has a vibrational frequency,

5 Ways To Clear Your Aura

05.11.2018 in Empowerment, Healing, Health, Life Skills, Manifestation, Personal Development, Positive Thinking, Self Love, Spirituality, Stress Management

From Sivana By Matt Caron

Auras are a direct reflection of our attitude and spiritual inclinations. They influence others in subtle ways, and our surroundings too. This is why it’s important to learn how to calm the mind and shift negative energy out.

These tips will do exactly that!

1) Take A Shower or Bath

Showers have a psychological healing effect, which in turn allows the mind to let go of negative thoughts and the aura to become more clear. As you shower, watch the water disappear down the drain or disperse away from your feet,
