If Only I Knew My Worth…

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” ~Albert Einstein

Looking back on my past, I see that I have spent most of my precious time striving to improve myself instead of celebrating the very gift of being alive and healthy. For many years, I though I wasn’t good enough, and perfection was my worst enemy.

I considered myself pretty but not beautiful, somewhat smart but not truly intelligent.

There’s Nothing Wrong With Being Single: Releasing the Shame and Stigma

27.02.2018 in Health, Love, Positive Thinking, Relationships, Self Love, Soulmate, Spirituality

“Single is no longer a lack of options, but a choice. A choice to refuse to let your life be defined by your relationship status but to live every day Happily and let your Ever After work itself out.” ~Mandy Hale

In our society, being single is still heavily stigmatized. Being single is often perceived as something out of the norm. It is more acceptable to be part of a couple (even a dysfunctional one!) than it is to be single. And it is even more acceptable to be divorced than it is to be single.

21.02.2018 in Empowerment, Gratitude, Healing, Health, Life Skills, Positive Thinking, Psychic Development, Spirituality, Stress Management

By: Advisor Amee

What are some ways you can raise your vibration for your highest good? Here are some methods I have personally tried when I was sad,  angry, frustrated, anxiety ridden, depressed,or just in a funk!

1.Music. Upbeat, positive lyrics can make your day and moments brighter as it boosts the dopamine levels.

2.Dance. Wonderful to use to relieve those blah depressed feelings. It shakes the negativity right of you.

3.Affirmations. I love Louise Hay’s website and her YouTube videos. The are free and helped me for years now..

4.Animals. They are superb stress relievers.Just petting them and listening to a cat purr,

The Power of Perspective: A Simple Way to Ease Anxiety

05.02.2018 in Empowerment, Health, Life Path, Life Skills, Positive Thinking, Stress Management

“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it. Be aware of the thoughts you are thinking.” ~Eckhart Tolle

One of the first ideas I learned in law school was “the reasonable third person,” a legal fiction created to help figure out if someone has acted unreasonably. There’s no clear-cut definition, so I spent a lot of energy arguing what a reasonable person would do. This hypothetical person haunted my law school exams, and later, my career.

But I realized the reasonable third person could teach me something beyond the courtroom.

Accept and Value Yourself: 11 Ways to Embrace Who You Are

“You’re imperfect, and you’re wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.” ~Brené Brown

I can’t remember exactly what it was she was trying to convince me I could do, but I had an argument to counter every bit of encouragement. There was no shortage to the ways I believed I wasn’t good enough.

She was trying to help me see myself the way she saw me—as someone smart, capable, and full of potential. I wasn’t buying it.

I’d been pretending for so long to be a better person than I really believed myself to be.

7 Vital Choices for Happy Relationships

25.01.2018 in Empowerment, Life Path, Life Skills, Love, Positive Thinking, Relationships, Self Love, Soulmate, Stress Management

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” ~Lao Tzu

A little over a decade ago I thought I was going to marry my college sweetheart and become a young bride, which made it all the more devastating when happily ever after didn’t pan out. When we broke up, I felt literally like I lost a limb, complete with phantom sensations of his hand in mine.

It didn’t take long for a dark guilt to bubble up—a constant festering reminder of all the mistakes I’d made.

How to Use Comparisons for Growth Instead of Feeling Inferior

23.01.2018 in Empowerment, Gratitude, Healing, Health, Life Path, Life Skills, Positive Thinking, Self Love, Spirituality, Stress Management

By

“The heart is like a garden: it can grow compassion or fear, resentment or love. What seeds will you plant there?” ~Jack Kornfield

Comparison is something we all struggle with at one point or another. Although it’s something that conventional self-help wisdom urges us to avoid, it’s also a way of gauging where we fit in the world.

Usually, when we engage in comparison, we do so from an ego-based perspective and find ourselves (or others) lacking. This approach doesn’t benefit anyone involved, but, until recently, this was my predominant experience of comparison.

7 Reasons Your Breakup Is A Beautiful Thing

“Watch for big problems. They disguise big opportunities.” ~Ritu Ghatourey

After many years of being the “dumper” in the relationship, I then spent many years being the “dumpee.”

Even after I had worked through all of that karma that I had instilled upon myself, when it came time for my last breakup, it was finally a mutual decision. Still, it left me feeling lost and incomplete.

I had never felt happier with any other man, and at the same time, I knew I deserved better. We both loved each other so much,

When We Hold onto Relationships That Hurt Us

22.01.2018 in Empowerment, Healing, Health, Life Path, Life Skills, Love, Positive Thinking, Psychic Readings, Psychics, Relationships, Self Love, Soulmate, Spiritual Reports, Spirituality, Stress Management

“Relationships are like glass. Sometimes it’s better to leave them broken than hurt yourself trying to put it back together.” ~Unknown

Human beings are genetically programmed to desire love. Embraces are as important to us as food and water.

Perhaps that’s why when we find someone—the wrong someone—we’re often too blind to see it.

We feel it and yet we hide it away, write it off as an odd case of commitment phobia or just a hiccup in our new relationship, oblivious to the fact that were heading into a future of sleepless nights,

3 Simple Steps To Stop Worry In Its Tracks

18.01.2018 in Empowerment, Healing, Health, Life Path, Life Skills, Love, Positive Thinking, Psychic Readings, Psychics, Self Love, Spiritual Reports, Spirituality, Stress Management

By Lia Carroll

Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow.  It only saps today of its joy.” ~Leo Buscaglia

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been the worrywart extraordinaire.

Worry: verb: To give way to anxiety or unease; allow one’s mind to dwell on difficulty or troubles.

Fret, be anxious, brood, stress, panic.

If worry came with a degree, mine would be a PhD.

As a child I worried about my schoolwork. I worried if other kids would laugh, or not, as the case may be. I worried if I’d pass the test,
