Love When You Are Ready, Not When You Are Lonely

lonelyWe’ve all felt it before. The emotion that sends us flying through the heavens with no cares or worries in the world. It’s the feeling that electrifies our energy and makes our hearts dance. Love is undoubtedly a very powerful feeling that most all of us crave, but it is important to be ready for it and in the right state of mind when it appears.

While loneliness hits all of us from time to time, feeling lonely all the time is an indicator that you may be lacking some self love. When is the last time you did something nice for yourself? When is the last time you chose to partake in an activity that brought you nothing but joy? If it has been a while, then the time is right now. Not only do these activities help you to fall further in love with who you already are, they uplift your energy which helps to attract the right type of people into your life. When you feel upbeat, alive, and great about yourself, there is a much better chance you will meet someone that shares your values and ideals. When you are feeling lonely and meet someone new, you may cling to this new person when he or she isn’t even good for you. These situations are never healthy and will usually make you feel worse than you did before. Then, the pattern repeats and you may reach a state where you a ready to give up on all of it.

Maintaining self love also helps you create standards for yourself that will push any of the bad apples out of your life. Bad relationships are just that, bad. They are bad for your energy, they will negatively affect your self esteem and even make you paranoid about the good connections that enter your life. It’s not easy to move past a long history of difficult relationships, but in order to make the good and real ones work, it is a necessary obstacle to overcome.

rumiIf you are feeling lonely and have been craving real love in your life, start making some changes to yourself right now. Write out all of your fears in regards to love and then work to eliminate those fears one at a time. Ask yourself why you feel lonely, and, as mentioned above, get out and start introducing some real fun back into your life. Slowly work to remove any expectations you have and allow your renewed energy to flow freely. That new, confident, and loving vibe you push will attract the exact people into your life that you have been looking for so long as you don’t rush it. Let these situations happen naturally and go on about your normal day to day. The moment you do, the individual you have been looking for will show up when you least expect it and you will be emotionally ready to walk into a new and loving unknown full of unlimited possibilities. You deserve it and you owe it to yourself to be involved in a loving situation, so trust it’s coming and spend these downtime periods getting yourself ready for it! And lastly, don’t forget, he or she has been looking for you, too!

    Every time I read one of these blogs, I actually feel them to be true or I might currently be in that type of “process”. It’s exciting to be right especially after practicing meditation to find you are on the right track.

    Anyone going through their own struggles, remember, you have the power to turn your situations and life around. Believe in yourself. Have faith in yourself. Most importantly, forgive yourself. We can be our biggest obstacle, but we think others have power over us. This is true if you truly are giving away your power by trying to live by others expectations or trends/society in general.

    Live a little and don’t be afraid to leave negative people/situations behind!

        Wrapped up in my own “loneliness”
        I forget that All it Takes 2 start pulling
        Myself Out of It is 2 make a Conscious
        Effort 2 CHANGE my Attitude!
        Because I have Found that Happy
        Simply BREEDS Happy! If u Concentrate
        On Lifting your Heart & Mood & Attitude
        U will start having Happiness & Light Hearted fun people enter your life &
        Surround U…… Sometimes when things
        Aren’t going Very well & u are having a
        Hard time u can get wrapped up in
        Sad & Depressed feelings…. but, only
        U can Change YOUR ATTITUDE….

        BAD DAYS will Come Along…. But, U can
