3 Signs It’s Time to Break Up

11.09.2017 in Empowerment, Love, Psychics, Relationships, Soulmate, Spirituality, Twin Flame

By:

“Celebrate endings, for they precede new beginnings.” ~Jonathan Lockwood Huie

There was an incessant doubt deep inside that wouldn’t subside. It followed me everywhere—through the good times and the rough times.

By “good,” I mean things were okay. They were never great, ecstatic, wildly passionate, and deeply connected.

I tried to escape it, block it out, ignore it, and pretend this nagging feeling would eventually disappear.

But my heart wasn’t skipping a beat. The spark had long disappeared. I never had butterflies thinking about him. I felt myself slowly withdrawing.

Are You In The Friend Zone?

05.09.2017 in Empowerment, Love, Relationships, Soulmate, Spirituality, Stress Management, Twin Flame

By: Advisor Rhonda

You can’t explain the feeling you get when you two are together..all you know is that it’s magnetic! The chemistry and the connection is the strongest you have ever felt with anyone. You find yourself thinking about them all the time and you still get butterflies whenever you are around them. With the history you share it’s so easy to share any and everything. So, why the feelings of uncertainty you ask. It feels so right and you just know that you are soulmates but at times this person acts a little weird and distant,

“Love does not obey our expectations; it obeys our intentions.” ~Lloyd Strom

Have you ever felt less about a relationship when it didn’t exactly pan out like a fairy tale? I sure did.

I had it stuck in my mind that a great relationship should be picture perfect.

When reality would give me a sobering slap showing it was far from perfect, I would walk away from a relationship that refused to meet my standards.

I thought that a relationship is like a flower in a pot,

“Don’t worry about what the world needs.  Ask what makes you come alive and do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” ~Howard Thurman

From center stage I looked out into the crowd as the stage lights warmed my face and did their best to obscure my vision.

In the half-light of the seating area I spotted the faces of family, friends, many other members of the local jazz community, and other people who had come out to support me. Smiling.

Knowing When to Give Space Or Move On

16.08.2017 in Empowerment, Love, Psychics, Relationships, Stress Management, Twin Flame

By: Psychic Rhonda

You may have consulted a psychic and have been told to give things time. This to me is a very difficult thing to do especially when going through a rough patch with your partner because it can put you in a state of emotional limbo..feeling as though absence will either push you further apart or make things better. I myself have been given this response and it felt so nonchalant that I didn’t even find the reading useful…I remember thinking, “Well this didn’t help at all”(lol). I wanted an immediate solution and for things to work out RIGHT THEN.

“It is better to take many small steps in the right direction than to make a great leap forward only to stumble backward.” ~Proverb

Two years ago, after hearing Gretchen Rubin of The Happiness Project, talk about setting up one’s own blog, I went home and did just that. It had been something I had thought of doing, one day, when I would get over my “fear” of technology and decide I can do this.

Her talk made it sound so easy that I sat down and went for it.

Sooo..your current job has run its course. Some of you may feel over-worked and underpayed, some of you may just be seeking a career change or perhaps the work enviroment is just too negative. Regardless of what your reasons are, I think everyone can agree when you are fed up, work becomes dreadful and physically being there can be miserable! I can remember a few years ago pulling into my work parking lot debating on whether to go in or just say screw it! This is when you know its time to find better.

Dealing With Jealousy

31.07.2017 in Empowerment, Gratitude, Love, Relationships, Stress Management

By: Psychic Janette

As far I can remember, I have always had jealous people around me. Was it my cousin, my siblings or someone else who is trying his all tricks to drive me away from someone I dearly love. When I was a kid, it was my cousin who was jealous of that chance to spend all my time with my grandma. She practically raised me. In adult years it is my siblings who are jealous of everything I have achieved, even my love life and my gifts. When I have left my family back another side,

“Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.” ~Pema Chödrön

There is a person in my life who I love with all my heart, but in this relationship I struggle to keep a full cup myself. They are family, the situation is complicated and tender. But learning to have compassion for this other person begins with having compassion for myself.

A nasty divorce spanning most of my childhood set the stage for our current situation. My mother was deeply emotionally wounded by my father,

“When something bad happens you have three choices. You can let it define you, let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you.” ~Unknown

Relationships are tough. Even more difficult is maintaining healthy boundaries within a relationship.

My head hurts and I feel like I’m going to throw up. Let me explain. I’m in a loving, healthy relationship with a beautiful woman, and I’m proud to call her my partner.

Great, so why do I feel like I want to throw up? Well, because last night was a tough night for us,

“But no. We can give it another chance; I know we can. We just have to try harder…” were my desperate words to him as he was breaking up with me for the second time.

As I am reading those words, out loud, I feel a little sting in my heart. It’s been a while since I revisited this experience and for some reason, it feels bittersweet.

It’s been about nine months since he told me that he didn’t see a future for us,

The Effects of Settling

29.05.2017 in Empowerment, Healing, Love, Relationships, Spirituality, Stress Management

By: Psychic Rhonda

Everyone has their ideal mate in mind and what type of relationship they desire but sometimes we meet the total opposite or someone who may only possess half of the characteristics we want and the relationship works out beautifully. However, there are times when we choose someone who is out of our league in a bad way..in other words settling. You notice right away things about them that are turn offs or habits that you wouldn’t normally associate yourself with but you’ve been single for quite some time and hey, you got lonely. Now,

Conscious Breathing: A Simple Way to Work Through Emotional Pain and Be Present in Your Life

25.05.2017 in Empowerment, Love, Positive Thinking, Relationships, Stress Management

By: Polly Green

“Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.” ~Thich Nhat Hanh

I never gave much thought to my breath unless I was submerged under water for long periods without any.

Today I rely on it for more than the obvious function of keeping me alive.

Breathing has become my biggest tool and best friend.

It has become a foundation for living with conscious presence and awareness.

Breathing consciously has helped me overcome anxiety and has provided a gateway into peace.

Are You Sabotaging Your Relationships?

15.05.2017 in Empowerment, Love, Relationships, Soulmate, Spirituality, Stress Management, Twin Flame

By: Psychic Rhonda

You have been enjoying your new beau for the past few months and have felt that this could be your soulmate however lately you have begun to notice certain patterns and behavior that you have seen before in previous partners. Now your lover’s bliss has been replaced with paranoia and constant fear.  A once loving relationship where you were inseparable has turned into tension and distance. You love your partner and can’t imagine life without them, but yet you feel there is something amiss. When you confront them of course they deny withholding secrets and reassure you that they haven’t lost interest but your sensors are going off left and right.

“She had not known the weight until she felt the freedom.” ~Nathaniel Hawthorne

Why do we stress ourselves out? Why is it that being productive and getting tasks done is more important than healing and taking the time to feel calm?

Stress and anxiety can affect our lives in so many different ways. A few years ago, it manifested itself in me physically, in a pretty gross way.

There was a time I had a plantar wart on the bottom of my left foot, and it was very painful.

Why I Thanked My Ex and Now Appreciate the Heartbreak

“How thankful I am today, to know that all my past struggles were necessary for me to be where I am now.” ~Unknown

I met my ex-boyfriend, let’s call him Derek, through work. We were introduced through mutual co-workers, and then we hit it off and began dating.

We had a connection right away, partly based on physical attraction, but also we laughed a lot together, and I felt cared for by him.

We lived in different cities at the time, but would see each other every other weekend. We dated this way for a year and then talked about moving in together.

“Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths.” ~Etty Hillesum

Today I’d like to discuss something that I’ve found to be very important: our breathing.

“What do you mean our breathing? Don’t we do that all the time? Why do I need to read a blog post about it?”

Yes, we do this involuntarily, but did you know that there are different ways we breathe? Improper breathing can affect how we feel, mentally and physically, and,

How To Overcome Insecurity and Change Your Negative Relationship Patterns

26.04.2017 in Empowerment, Gratitude, Relationships, Spirituality, Stress Management, Twin Flame

 By: Carrie L. Burns

“Sometimes our thoughts are backed by so much insecurity that they create lies we believe.” ~Unknown

After nearly a year of being single and after going through my fifth breakup, I found myself involved with someone new.

It was the typical guy-meets-girl story you read about all over the Internet. We met for dinner and drinks and there was an immediate attraction. We laughed and talked and overall had a great night. By the second date, he stayed the night at my house and didn’t leave for four days.

This time I felt I was more prepared.

I was finally in a solid place when I met my now-ex-boyfriend earlier this year. I had created some healthy habits for myself and was fully recovered from the eating disorder that had ruled my life for eight years prior.

Things had turned around completely for me, as now I was getting my first novel published and had a flourishing greeting card line.

Finding a New Path When You’re Attached to the Old and Scared of Failing

17.04.2017 in Empowerment, Manifestation, Spirituality, Stress Management

By: Nadene van der Linden

“All endings are just beginnings. We just don’t know it yet.” ~Mitch Albom

The difficulty of finding, let alone staying on a path was brought to mind recently when I got lost in a maze at a children’s amusement park. Seriously lost.

In the end I scrambled under the maze to get out. I didn’t like the feeling of hitting up against walls, turning and trying, and then finding another wall blocking my path. Mazes are designed to confuse, and together with the summer heat, I’d had enough.

As I came out from under the fence,
